The Historic Preservation Commission reviews and makes recommendations on applications for new and expanded Historic Districts and landmarks. The commission also grants or denies applications for Certificates of Appropriateness, guides the development of Historic Building Design Guidelines, and assists in educating residents about available resources for preservation activities. Four members of the commission are owners or residents of the Historic District or a landmarked property.
